Will Breathe Naturals clog my pores?
No, actually the opposite. Traditional antiperspirants focus on clogging your pores, however this is not ideal because our bodies naturally detoxify through sweating.
Breathe Naturals keeps you feeling dry by using Arrowroot Powder to absorb moisture, and Magnesium Hydroxide to kill odor and bacteria.

Is Breathe Naturals Cruelty Free?
Yes ! We are committed to ending animal testing, and do not support it in any way. Our deodorant was only tested on humans, and is 100% cruelty free, and vegan.
I'm experiencing some rash/ irritation from the deodorant, what should I do?
Our deodorant is meant for people with sensitive skin, however some may experience slight irritation from the baking soda in our deodorant.
The good news is, this can be worked through in most cases. Your pits may just need some time to adjust to the baking soda and properly regulate their pH balance.
If irritation persists or becomes painful, please discontinue use, we are working on a “sensitive skin” version, without any baking soda in it. Is Breathe Naturals Deodorant safe for kids?
Yes! In fact, we would recommend all kids to use a natural deodorant that is safe for their skin, and it is important to introduce that at a young age. By kids, we mean ages 12 up, and would say 1 swipe of deodorant should be sufficient for their level of perspiration and odor.
Is Breathe Naturals an antiperspirant?
No, an antiperspirant reduces perspiration by creating a plug near the top of the sweat glands. Breathe Naturals does not intend to block your pores, or prevent your body from sweating.
Instead, we use natural ingredients such as arrowroot powder to absorb moisture, and coconut oil, shea butter, essential oils, and magnesium to eliminate odor and prevent bacteria from growing in your armpit (which is the source of the odor).

Will I get pit stains?
Let’s be real, nobody likes pit stains, and this can be a big concern when transitioning to a new deodorant. Contrary to popular belief, its not your sweat alone that causes golden pits, but a chemical reaction that results from Apocrine Sweat mixed with the aluminum in traditional deodorants (good thing BN doesn’t contain any).
Humans have a few different types of sweat glands. Eccrine sweat glands cover the whole body, and are an important mechanism to keeping us cool. It usually evaporates quickly, and doesn’t contain any odor. Next, we have apocrine sweat glands, which cover our underarms, and produce sweat that's packed with proteins and fats.
The pit stains that we all fear, are actually caused when the proteins in apocrine sweat mixes with the aluminum chloride in deodorant. The solution however? Breathe Naturals Deodorant! Ditch the aluminum packed traditional deodorants, and ditch the yellow sweat stains.
On a side note, if too much deodorant is applied, and you sweat heavily, there may be a bit of deodorant on the inside of your shirt underarm (white in color, not yellow), but it should not go all the way through to be visible. Unlike most deodorants, this comes out completely in the wash.
Does the deodorant go on clear?
Breathe Naturals goes on completely clear and invisible. Even with dark colored clothing it won't leave any white residue in the underarms like many other deodorants. The stick itself is white, but it glides on clear and practically looks/ feels like there's nothing there!
Is the stick small enough to go through the airport?

As a bodybuilder or someone who sweats a lot, will this deodorant be strong enough to last all day?
YES! Breathe Naturals was actually designed for athletes and people who sweat the most. Most of our customers in fact are people who live a busy active lifestyle, play tennis, run, lift weights, etc.
We use tapioca starch and arrowroot powder to absorb moisture, and magnesium, zinc, and a little bit of baking soda to keep you dry and odor free all day.

Does the deodorant contain baking soda?
That is a great question! Breathe Naturals does contain a small amount of baking soda (around 5% of our formula) so it is certainly not enough to cause any rash or irritation. We prefer to use ingredients like zinc and magnesium, which are more gentle on skin, to eliminate odor.
Also, we use Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, Elderberry, and more to nourish and moisturize the skin so it stays hydrated, and not dry or irritated. How long approximately will a stick last me?
A little bit goes a long way with Breathe Naturals. Most of our customers get 2-3 months of use out of each stick depending on how much they use.
